Scientific Marketing Success To Grow Your Business As Quickly As You Can Manage!TM

Use Your Product Like Your Customer

January 15th, 2008 · No Comments

Not only must you learn to think like your customer, you must design your business properly.  This particularly applies to your products and service.

Part of the proper design of your products and services is thoroughly undertanding how your products function and how your customers use them.

Use your product, service, printed material, web pages, . . . everything, . . . the way your uninformed customer will.  Why would I emphasize your “uninformed” customer?  It is very simple, though not necessarily obvious.

You must never assume your customer knows anything about your products or services.  As such it is your responsibility to effectively educate them on how to best use your products or services.  This is simply effective product presentation.  Of course, in that education process, you should not talk down to or be condescending toward your customer.  Simply be graciously, warmly informative about all the benefits and features of your products and services.

When you learn how your customers use your products and services, you will be amazed how your products and services can be messed up or misused if they are not properly designed.  What may appear obvious to you may be anything but obvious to your uninformed user.  Remember, never leave anything to chance over which you can exert some control.

To your business success!
